Actually, not just from Wundee... Zork is definitely a geek thing, and my friends are all geeks, generally. So I am immersed in Zorkitude. =)

Zork was great. I used to play it on an Atari 1200XL, and before that on some weird terminal thing my mom had from work. It was essentially a big typewriter with a thermal printer in it and two big suction cups to plug in the phone receiver (back when phones had round things on each end) so the 300 baud modem could do it's job. The truly scary part was it was called Dungeon at the time (I think the authors worked for my mom's company or something and it was on their system about a year before Zork came out). I actually still have a couple of the scrolls of thermal paper from playing it.

But no text adventure beats Pick Up the Phone Booth and Die. :)
