and we will never sever

ATTN: if you have posted anything i should see in the past month or so, let me know. i do not have the inclination to catch up on how far behidn i am

i had a good time at lunch today. people were nice to talk to. friends are neat-o, even when i'm sad and paranoid.

oh yeah, when i got back last night, in a deathly mood, i found a birthday note left on my desk from julie. thanks julie! that cheered me up a lot

had an eye apointment today, i am not a fan of those. but appraently im not going extra blind so thats good to hear. he has a new glaucoma testing machine, so instead of slowly prodding my eye, he can quickly poke it with a whirring stick that sounds like it's drilling. that freaked me the hell out. i dont like having things stuck in my eyes. i also dont like the novacaine drops, but theyre better than feeling it i suppose. right before he poked, he says to me "now i want you to stare straight ahead and breathe normally, you shoudlnt feel anything. and if you do feel anything.... then just breathe normally." i was like, oh okay thanks i'll do that please dont stab my eyes out

King Nixon (11:26:39 PM): whats wrong with us kitty
heartsarefire (11:26:51 PM): we're sad but we dont do anything about it
King Nixon (11:27:14 PM): ive tried to do things and they didnt work
heartsarefire (11:27:29 PM): yeah same here

i guess that's all there is to say

i just spotted a big spiderweb in my room. near my desk. OH GOOD JUST WHAT I WANTED.

i failed the crap out of modern world test #2 today. of course, i said that last time and got a B- so no promises, but lordy did i not know a damn thing on there. i think the most i COULD get, based just on how many qeustions i answered, is somewhere around 80. assuming i got everything i said right, which i did not. my best answer this time was when asked to differentiate monet and manet. i said something like "monet was an impressionist painter. manet was someone else." hooray! oh, and then i got my philosophy midterm back-- A+ !!! fucked if i know how, he only wrote one thing on the paper and it is illegible. but i guess he liked my rambly answers. jack said his 1st answer got an A and 2nd got an F (there were 2 questions on the midterm), so he was tough on some people

i fucking love queens of the stone age more every time i hear them. hot damn

so i was planning to come back here after fiction today and finish my fuckin paper, but instead i went to the mub with nastassia. we spent awhile ogling the cd/dvd guy's selection, and i bought -- hold onto your hat, baby -- PUMP UP THE VOLUME. i am excited. hard harry is gonna tell it like it is.

if someone was born and lived their entire life with no senses at all - theyre blind, deaf, numb, etc - could they think? could they dream? what would their experiences of these things be?

my beard looks shitty with my short hair. :(

i have no idea how this happened:
