hey. so i have an idea. i like reading, but i am a very distractable boy and don't read nearly as much as i'd like to. i also like having people around and telling them about the weird things i am reading.
so! i propose we start up a reading club, or something. like, we all sit around somewhere and read and chat and eat snacks. it will rule. CAN I GET A WITNESS??
ooh! we can use the executive conference room in the mub for xxxtreme comfort. or like, out in the park, but it's gettin kinda cold out. or anywhere really. yeah.
np: the great kat - beethoven on speed - 10 - beethoven mosh (5th symphony)
I very much enjoy that userpic.
that's a great idea. I am in.
oh man. i'm really fucking in!
p.s. i'm so wicked fucked up :)
dude that's totally what we did this summer! we went to the park and read crazy stories and told each other about them. you should start this in nh and if it is successful i will start it up in ri, when i find some friends anyways, which hopefully will be soon. i was thinking today that it's terribly draining to begin making friends, so i've decided to not really think about it and just be friendly and do stuff in public places, so that is all. good day sir!
yes! that is what gave me the idea. i'm just trying to replace you, julie, but it can't be done
yeah, just doing stuff in public and meeting people will magically result in friends after awhile. that's how it works. especially now that you're jobbed, you'll be able to meet folks

i know what you should do...
hey woody! i know who would love to have you come hang out with them, read to them, eat snacks with them, etc. tada! the ELDERLY!!! y'know, wicked old people who just want company everyonce in a while. i bet they'll even tell YOU stories in exchange for the reading to them. and i bet you could read any manner of odd literature to them and they wouldn't even care, just to hear the sound of a human voice and feel like someone likes being with them.
go on, you know you want to.
