|07:41 am - swingin' on the flippety-flop|
if you ever thought that NPR was not hip and with it, i just want you to know that today they a) played the geto boys "damn it feels good to be a gangsta" as background music to the weather report, and b) had a nice chat about roflcopter.
npr almost always plays really good music in the background.
also, you are one of two posts in a row on my friends list that mentioned npr's coverage of the rofl.
true, but usually it's more classical or jazzy or whatever. how often do they throw on gangsta rap?
it was exciting! usually they talk about war and politics and economics and things like that. it's not often they get to cover the really important issues
TELL ME WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT ROFLCOPTER.
it was just a mention. they were talking about the exciting new phenomenon of internet slang. one of their examples was ROFL, and what it stands for, and how it can be said out loud as rawful. and then they said that it is also often used as roflcopter or rofl waffle. they didn't even attempt to explain this though
