after board, i was hanging out at findy tonight (something i don't do nearly enough). for some reason they always have about a week's worth of newspapers in the dining room, so i grabbed one with a big article about some tobacco bill being debated in congress. i edited the article so it was actually about a guy named bill, who apparently wields enormous political power and everyone is always talking about him. i love re-editing things; we used to do it in high school with the school paper all the time, re-edit stories so they were about ridiculous things. the important rule is to be frugal with additions: scribble out all you want from the story, but don't add in more than the occasional s or punctuation or whatever.
np: i just discovered that velvet revolver do a crappy cover of psycho killer

(7 shots upside the head | en garde!)

that makes me laugh, because as soon as i read "tobacco bill," before i got to your edit, i was thinking of a guy named tobacco bill, and trying to decide where the nickname must have come from.

Aaron loves to do things like that. Whenever we end up having to go to the laundromat, he likes to take one of the free newspapers, edit a few things, and stick it back in the pile, so that some unsuspecting person finds it. He thinks it's the height of hilarity
