much like booze, i think i like to be drinking tea more than i like actually drinking tea. i don't particularly like the taste, but there is something pleasant and relaxing about the act of drinking it, which is probably all psychosomatic but whatev it's still nice.
i never have anything to post anymore. this is seriously the most interesting thought i've had in days.
green tea tastes how i imagine boiled grass would taste.

green tea should be brewed at a temperature of 170-180 degrees F, not at 212. and it should be brewed for 1-2 minutes, no more. and add honey.
chamomile tea, that's what boiled grass tastes like.
i brew it at whatever temp makes my tea kettle go tweet, and the internets have all informed me that green tea should be brewed 3-4 min. honey is good but we're out. for awhile i was using this chrystalized ginger stuff that was delishhhhhh but we're out of that too

4 minutes is definitely too long. the longer you brew, the more bitter it gets. when the kettle goes tweet, pour the water into an empty mug and wait a few minutes before adding the tea. green tea is more delicate than black and if the water is too hot it ruins the tea.
I like black tea. With tons of cream and sugar. Green tea ice cream is pretty good though.
your thoughts are interesting. i agree, i like doing something with the idea that it is going to make me feel differently, takes some of the pressure off of my brain
i like chamomile with honey.
