01:58 am - oh hello little pills
sometimes i accidentally go off the zoloft for a spell - mostly by forgetfulness - and i realize how much it blunts my affect. i'm just generally more reactive/responsive, for good or bad, without it. things are funnier/happier/sadder/etc. zoloft mutes me. it's better than being miserable, so i'll roll with it, but i hope someday my baseline moves far enough into happiness that i can experience things properly.

unrelatedly, since starting law school i have been getting heartburn a lot. wtf is that about? i blame civ pro.

unrelatedlier, despite not being thrilled with the watchmen comics and finding the movie kind of annoying in the theater, i decided today it would be a great idea to watch the ultimate edition, which is freaking three and a half hours long. it's no masterpiece, but overall i really enjoyed it! go figure.
np: cap'n jazz - oh messy life

You've got a html tag missing an "a" in it there.

Out of curiousity, if you didn't like Watchmen in the theatre, what changed it for you in the ultimate edition?

Maybe it was the ability to pause it to go have a snack/pee.

i felt the same way when i took zoloft for a couple of years, but i felt like it was a good thing for the most part. finally i reached a point where i just didn't want to take it anymore and i was ok without it. i'm sure that will happen to you soon enough, until then just do whatever you have to to keep your head above water. heartburn blows, eat bananas.
